You may look at some of the well known online sellers and see prices for Lab Grown Diamonds in the $10,000-$25,000 range. Are they insane?  I can't speak to that, but the reason our prices are so much less than those sellers is when our industry became aware of the labs being set up to produce Lab Grown Diamonds, we knew that as the technology and manufacturing process improved, our cost of goods would drop.  Many of the online sellers used venture capital to buy inventory, and they now own $10,000 stones that are worth substantially less.  We buy from the labs as we need, get them in a few days , and charge current market price to our customers.  Being in the industry for 46 years made us aware of how the new Lab Grown Diamonds would evolve.  The venture capitalists, obviously didn't understand this fact.
